Designed for a couple who wanted a home that combined their love of west-coast style with their east coast roots. They were specifically looking for the kind of curvilinear plan elements seldom seen in this part of the country. This home received an Aurora Award for the best custom home in the 1-2 million dollar price range.

Kitchen remodeling, Culpeper, Virginia
Formely a windowless galley kitchen surrounded by hallways and assorted closets. An intricate network of new beams above the ceiling permitted the removal of unwanted bearing walls, opening the space up to natural light and beautiful garden and lakefront views. Existing cherry cabinets were combined with new "fitted" cabinets, designed and fabricated by Jaeger & Ernst of Ruckersville, Virginia.
Addition to Victorian Residence, Macoy Ave., Culpeper, Virginia
Single-story 1st floor master bedroom addition, designed to fit in seamlessly with existing house. The owner commissioned custom milled lap siding to match the historic profile of the original boards.
219 E. Davis Street - the Taft Building - once known as the Wiland Building, later referred to as the "ABC Hilton". Restored through the use of CDBG funds, it is once again fully utilized, and a sparkling contributor to the vibrant streetscape of downtown Culpeper.
